After 30-40 minutes of a scenic mountain flight from Kathmandu, we land at Lukla airport. Lukla is the gateway to Everest Base Camp. Enjoying the marvelous view of numerous snow-capped mountains and scenic landscapes, they trace through different villages like Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche, and Gorakshep before reaching Everest Base Camp. In the evening, our tour guide will give you a brief introduction and provide valuable information about the trek. After an early morning start, you will be picked up at the hotel by our guide, who will take you to the domestic terminal of Kathmandu airport. The flight from Kathmandu to Lukla takes around 35 minutes, giving you time enough to take in the spectacular views of the Himalayas. After landing at Tenzing-Hilary airport, you will meet your porter, who will carry your luggage. You then begin your journey with a relatively easy trek, passing a kani (ceremonial gatehouse) before the trail descends and leads above Kyangma village with its large gompa (monastery) and school. We then continue to Cheplung village, where the trail passes through a community forest within sight of the Dudh Koshi River. After crossing the suspension bridge, you climb across the ridge to Ghat and then pass a school and a complex of Mani walls, chortens, and prayer wheels. After a short walk from Ghat, we reached Phakding. Overnight at a mountain lodge.

After breakfast, the trek crosses several suspension bridges over the Dudh Kosi River before passing through Tok-Tok, Bhenkar, and Monjo and then arriving at the Sagarmatha National Park entrance gate, where you will be required to buy a permit. After following the river bed for a few hours and after the last Hillary suspension bridge, there is a steep uphill trek to Namche Bazaar. Namche has a good selection of restaurants, a cyber café, pubs, a post office, an ATM and banks.

This idyllic town is an ideal place for "acclimatization". Health specialists recommend we spend the day being active rather than sitting idle. From Namche, it is possible to take a short hike to Everest View Resort, Thame, visit Khunde, or relax and explore Namche Bazaar. Namche Bazaar is the main center of the Everest (Khumbu) region and has government offices, ATMs, internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery, and a colorful market each Friday evening and Saturday. A short trek of only a hundred meters will help us properly acclimatize. Our guides will also take us to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarters of the Sagarmatha National Park, where we can observe an assortment of relics related to the first mountaineers to climb Everest, learn about Sherpa culture, and discover the varied plant and animal life of the Everest region.

The trek continues along the rapid flowing glacial waters of the Dudh Kosi with magnificent views of the mountains (Mt. Everest, Lhoste, Taboche peak, Amadablam). You eventually reach an altitude of 3,800 meters at Tengboche. At the Tengboche monastery are unbelievably ornate wall hangings; a 20-foot sculpture of various poses of the Buddha; and musical instruments and robes of the Lamas. Our group will be taken to observe a prayer ceremony, either in the evening or in the morning, depending on how the trekking goes this day.

The trek from Tengboche to Dingboche is only a short distance, which we will most likely complete in the afternoon. The last hill into Dingboche, and at this high altitude, is challenging! The trail then heads to the village of Somare (4020m) and then to Orsho, both of which have lodged. Later, the trail divides, with the left trail heading up to Pheriche before crossing a suspension bridge and a steep climb to the village of Dingboche (4460m), with many good guesthouses.

It is sensible to spend another day acclimatizing before heading to higher altitudes. One way of doing this is to hike up to Chukkung Valley (4730m) and on to Island Peak (Imja Tes). Above Dingboche is Nagkartshang Gompa (a strenuous trek that takes around 2 to 3 hours), or alternatively, head to Pheriche for an afternoon lecture on altitude sickness. The trail to Chhukung leaves Dingboche heading to Bibr (4570m) and is surrounded by fabulous mountain peaks: Taboche, Nuptse, Lhotse, the enormous flute-shaped pass of Amphu Laptsa Pass, Ama Dablam. Chukkung has several lodges and is the most popular spot for those climbing Island Peak. If trekkers feel better acclimatized, they can head up a grassy slope towards the peak of Chukkung Ri (5550m) for a magnificent view of Makalu.

After breakfast, our trek starts with an easy walk towards Thukla before crossing the steep terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier and then passing through the boulder-strewn slopes as we ascend Chupki Lhara, where we find clusters of stones with prayer flags placed by Sherpas as a memorial to Scott Fischer (American mountaineer), 10-time Everest summiteer, and Babu Chiri Sherpa (Nepalese Sherpa mountain guide), who perished on a mission to climb Mt. Everest. The path then continues to the Khumbu Glacier moraine, and before us are many beautiful mountain peaks—Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Mahalangur Himal. We stay overnight in Lobuche.

Elevation: 5364m
We commence our trek to Mt. Everest Base Camp through the vast Gorak-Shep. Along the trail, we pass the Indian army mountaineers' memorials. At this point, the path can be confusing, so following your guide is important. The thin air at this high altitude can be exhausting. We traverse rocky dunes, moraine, and streams before reaching the Mt. Everest Base Camp. From Everest Base Camp, you will see some of the world’s highest peaks, in stark contrast to the gray surroundings—especially in the spring. Before us are Khumbuste, Nuptse, and Pumori. We will then head back to Gorak Shep.

Elevation: 4230m
At around 4 a.m., in the pre-dawn darkness and cold temperatures (-10 to -14 C), we begin our trek. It is common for there to be cold winds at this altitude. Towering peaks, such as Khumbutse, Lingtren, and Changtse, loom before us to the east as Everest comes into view. Not until we reach Kala Patthar (5550m) do we get a 360 degree up-close and bird’s eye view of Mount Everest. After taking in the panoramic views and madly clicking cameras, we will return back to Lobuche and then to Pangboche for a good night's rest.

From Pangboche, we retrace our steps, descending to the Imja Khola and then up through the rhododendron forest to Tengboche monastery. For some, this will be an opportunity to see the nuns perform their religious ceremonies at the Tengboche Monastery. After lunch at Tengboche, we continue our trek across the hillside blanketed by colorful rhododendron and juniper trees. After crossing the bridge over the (milky river) Dudh Koshi River, our trail continues through the Dudh Koshi gorge, descending rapidly through the pine forests before reaching Sansa. Along the way we keep our eyes peeled for wildlife, such as (Himalaya Thar) mountain goats, snow leopards, and colorful pheasants while passing through the forest. After passing a chorten, we reach the army camp at Namche Bazaar, where we stay overnight.

This is our final day of trekking before returning to our starting point at Lukla. In the evening, we will celebrate with a few drinks and dance.

After our 13-day trek, we take an early morning flight from Lukla to Kathmandu. After arriving in Kathmandu, you can take a rest or do some shopping. Your adventure comes to an end today, but your memories will last a lifetime! Our company representative will take you to the airport approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home, you'll have plenty of time to plan your next adventure and explore the most magnificent mountains of Nepal.
Yes, you can charge your Mobile phones and batteries during the Everest Base Camp Trek. in every place for charging need to pay an extra amount. The price of battery charging may vary in different places. The best idea is to bring your own power bank which you can charge in Kathmandu and use in the mountain. Charging batteries is quite costly in the mountain. To save your battery keep it warm however possible (Keep in the pocket or put it into the blanket or sleeping bag during the night).
You can choose the food from the menu whichever you want to have and it depends on the place. You can also choose local dishes and continental/Chinese dishes. However, the foods is cooked by the basic local trainers so the taste may not be the same as you have at your house.
You can bring whatever equipment is available in your home town. The rest of the things can be hired or buy in Kathmandu. Usually, the company provides the equipment like Down Jacket, Sleeping bag, Trekking poles, and Duffel bag for the trek only the rest of the equipment you can buy or rent. Check our Trekking Equipment List section and find to buy or rent in Kathmandu
If it’s too much to carry from your home country some of the necessary equipment can be hired or bought in Kathmandu around Thamel as well.
Most of the equipment is general and standard lists for all seasons while on trek, but may differ as per the season and duration of trekking and areas of your chosen trip.
Eating is a big part of the holiday. Traveling with Mountain Magic Treks, you will experience the vast array of wonderful food; Nepalese, Italian, Continental, Chinese, and several local cuisines. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included in the package. Your guide will suggest delicious, hygienic, and special foods from each place during your trip. Mountain restaurant owners prefer not to order many dishes and waste food as they would like to cater to more trekkers with limited food before runoff gets stuck. It’s a week or more of hard work for porters and caravans to bring food to these places. During this trek, you will typically eat breakfast and dinner at the same lodge, with lunch at one of the trail-side restaurants along the way.
A Tea House is a combination of a guest house, restaurant, and social hangout. A private room is available in most tea houses, except for high-altitude ones where it will be just dormitories. The lodges are fairly basic. The room is spare, with twin beds and very little additional furniture. Blankets are generally provided. There is a large dining hall warmed by the Bukhara stove (an iron cylinder fitted with a chimney duct, in which a log fire is lit). There is normally no electricity in the room unless the village has hydroelectric power. The dining room usually has solar lighting.
Most tea houses now also have electricity for charging small appliances—mobile phones and cameras—and there will be a small charge for this.
Mountain Magic Treks provides unlimited chlorine or lodine treated water throughout the trek. All tea houses have mineral water and boiled water for trekkers at an additional cost. We discourage the purchase of mineral water and bottled water while on the trek, as plastic bottles are difficult to dispose of and have become an environmental problem.
Mountain Magic Treks offers you complementary route map T-shorts and duffel bags.
This is a very active trip, which means you will be on the move most of the time, so pack as lightly as possible. We provide one porter for two trekkers; your trekking gear will be carried by the porter in a duffel bag that we will provide. The maximum the porters are allowed to carry is 15 kg per person, which means 30 kg from two trekkers. Unnecessary luggage can be left at the Kathmandu hotel for free.
Please read the Gear List section of this trip notes for additional details of what you need to bring for the trek on this trip. You will need to bring a comfortable medium-sized day pack to carry the things that you will need during the day. This should have a waist strap or (better) a padded waist belt. The weather is subject to change in the mountains, so layered clothing is recommended all year round.
While some individuals seek to summit the greatest mountain on earth, it is enough for most mere mortals to simply stand at the base and experience the awesome stature of Everest from below. However, there are no roads into Everest Base Camp Trekking and every person seeking to view the incredible mountain up close will need to trek through the Khumbu Valley from Lukla to Base Camp and back again-unless, of course, you can afford a helicopter!. The journey usually takes several weeks and can sometimes seem a little daunting to a novice hiker. But don't panic; it's very achievable!
The first thing to make clear is that the Everest Base Camp Trek requires no technical climbing and is essentially a long hike. We therefore strongly believe that anyone with determination and a basic fitness level can trek the route-and all of our successful clients attest to this!. We have seen overweight, underweight, old and young do this trek, and all of them enjoyed it thoroughly.
That being said, there are a number of crucial factors to consider prior to trekking the route, such as length, altitude, and training, that will help you determine whether you think the Everest Base Camp Trek route is the right trek for you.
For everyone who plans to trek in Nepal, it is highly recommended that you get a travel insurance that covers added expenses that might result due to various health issues, injuries, or accidents (together with air ambulance, helicopter rescue, and other treatment costs). Your insurance policy should cover all the activities that you are planning to accomplish throughout your stay in Nepal. In addition to this, the policy should also cover death, misplaced luggage, theft and liability, cancellations, medical treatment (counting hospital charges, cost of medicine, doctor’s fees) as well as repatriation costs. Also, this trekking trail in Nepal takes you 5,000 m above sea level; therefore, you also need to ensure that your insurance policy covers treks that go over 5,000 m. In short, the client himself/herself has to take the responsibility for unforeseen expenses during this trip.

When is the best time for Everest Base camp Trek?
Spring (March, April and May) and autumn (September, October and November) are the best times of the year to visit Nepal. During this time, the weather is pleasant with efficient sunlight and warmth. The sky is clear, which means that you can truly enjoy the remarkable Nepalese landscape, complete with the Himalayan vista.
During the monsoon (June-August), although there will be no problem for trekking, there could be less visibility and rain. But for a keen botanist, the monsoon is a blessing as the higher valleys, mountains, and meadows blossom with flowers and abundant vegetation. You can trek in winter (December, January, February) as well, especially in the hilly regions, but as you reach higher elevations it is much colder with snowfall. If you don’t necessarily enjoy crowds, trekking during the monsoon or winter or choosing a more solitary trekking destination could be your options. Note that due to global warming, there has been a change in the regular climate worldwide and Nepal is no exception. Please be open to unpredictable weather conditions as well.
This is a high altitude journey and the elevation starts from a low of 2810 m to 5,545 m, where symptoms of AMS (Acute Mountain Sickness) might occur due to dry air and less oxygen, as our adventure starts with a flight to Lukla and overnight stops at Phakding in a nice and cozy local lodge, which provides you with acclimatization as well as a rest day at Namche Bazaar before heading much higher altitude for the Everest Base Camp Trek. On this trip, one needs to be in good physical shape with sound health to avoid other medical complications en route. Just follow our guide; he will give advice and suggestions that keep and make you feel secure to enjoy this fabulous adventure with us.
The weather depends upon the season of trekking in the Everest Himalayan belts, where Everest Trek can be visited all year round. However, the monsoon months of July to mid September will be wet but much greener with heavy moisture.
The best time will be from March to May when wild flowers are in full bloom around Phakding and Namche Bazaar at 2,000 m to 3,000 m high and then tree lines and vegetation decline for rough arctic terrain. The temperature will be 15 to 20 degrees Celsius during the day with sunlight. The morning and evening can be much cooler with a minimum of -0 to 05 degrees Celsius, not counting the wind chill factors.
As the trek leads higher above 4,000 m, the temperature drops in the shade as well in the morning and night time. The day will be clear with strong sunlight and UV (due to the drop in oxygen and air pressure at high elevation), where you need a strong sun screen to avoid sunburn in direct sunlight. The clearest weather will be with short days and a minimum of -5 to -10 degrees Celsius in the morning and night, with a maximum of 15-20 degrees Celsius during the day in full sunlight. This also depends upon the altitude and areas of trekking.
With a chance of snow and temperatures ranging from -10 to -15 degrees Celsius without the wind chill factor, the majority of the day will be clear with a fine blue sky.
The main flow of foreign visitors in Nepal is for trekking, from moderate to adventurous or challenging treks. The most important thing is choosing the right trip as per your duration of holiday and fitness. For the Everest Himalayan trekking adventure, one needs to be in sound health and physically fit.
On booking with us, preparation of fitness is required, like walking, jogging, and Jumba-aerobic, at least a month before your departure from your home country.
Please send us your dietary list and medical history report so that we can arrange them well in advance, respectively. Book a ticket from home for Kathmandu-Nepal to arrive at least a day ahead of the trek departure with plenty of time in Kathmandu to enjoy the culture and heritage life of Nepalese, as well as in case of flight delay (Kathmandu-Lukla-Kathmandu), which can happen occasionally due to freak bad and unfavorable weather.

Unforgettable experience thanks to highly experienced professionals
We did a 15 day EBC Trek with Kathmandu sightseeing tour in the first week of February 2022 in a private group of 3. It was a great experience! The trek was perfectly organized, the lodges were good and clean, according to our requests, meals were always good and with several options, and we had an amazing team: our guide Prem did everything to make us feel at home, he was available 24/7 and took care of all our needs. The assistants, among which Toran, were also nice and super helpful. The team gave us great comfort in challenging times (especially at high altitudes, when we were tired and the trek was more difficult). Needless to say, the trek itself was SUPERB! Amazing and varied landscapes and the emotion to get to EBC was unbelievable!!!! We were impressed by these professionals and loved all the local people we met during our stay in the Everest region.
If anyone has any fears/doubts about which trek package to get before going to Nepal, I would suggest choosing Mountain Mart! They are also quite affordable too! :) I can’t wait for my next trip with them!
Thanks for making our experience unforgettable!
We definitely recommend Mountain Magic Treks to all people willing to make it to EBC and ti enjoy the Himalayas!

Everest Base Camp Trek is an outstanding lifetime Experience!
We went for an Everest base camp trip by mid-January 2022. We were a little worried as we never did the trek in life. However, we did a lot of research and came across Mountain magic Treks so we decided after much thought to go with them
Initially, we were in contact with Rewati the trip operator of the company... we both were highly satisfied with his interaction and communication with me right from the beginning. we had so many questions and concerns regarding the trip and he was able to guide us and answer all our inquiries... the onboarding process was smooth and easy. when we arrived in Nepal we found everything ready starting from the person picking us up from the airport, the hotel, some equipment for the trek, a full introductory meeting on what to expect from the journey, all ground transportation, and even before we left Nepal after the trek.. a PCR staff was provided and came to our hotel...
As for our trekking guide Khem are truly happy that we had him as our guide.. a very spectacular human being. he was more than a guide.. he was a great companion as well.. he ensured that we were having a good time.. continuously shared his expertise of mountains, Sherpa people, and Nepalese culture. he always went the extra mile to support us... even at days when it was tough for us to continue due to altitude sickness.. he encouraged us and inspired us not to give up on this lifetime journey.. he always puts health and safety first.
Despite all the challenges of the 15 days Everest Base Camp trek but we are very glad we did it... and we did it with an excellent group of people.. Mountain Magic Treks Pvt. Ltd. we highly recommend them for anyone who intends to go trekking in Nepal.

I did the EBC trek in 2016. Rewati is a great guide and has excellent communication skills. He is very caring, professional and has a great knowledge of the area including all the mountains names, heights, history of the areas etc. He is very familiarised with many people in the lodges, trek and porters. He also makes sure you are safe an comfortable at all times as well as he makes sure you are drinking enough water, eating well and make sure you are doing well throughout the trek. I highly recommend Rewati and his company.

Everest Base Camp, the trip of a life time!
we made it to Everest Base Camp and loved the entire trip. Mountain Magic Treks played a pivotal role in making this such a great adventure. The guides they found for us made all the difference in the world.
Our guide, Mahan is remarkable! I can tell he knew what makes a great adventure even better. He knew every mountain and its specifications, he knew all the local culture and customs and explained them so clearly, he knew what to suggest and what to avoid, he completely understands customer service, his English was amazing, he knew all the right people to get the special orders or service, and he knew the little extras that made it special. Most impressive is who he is, Mahan is kind, patient, humble, helpful, FUN, bright, eager, careful, encouraging, and consistent.
Kapil, our assistant guide was always out front keeping the perfect pace and making sure we were safe and enjoyed the journey. Both the guides and my son had a blast together laughing, singing, sharing and playing around.
There is no way to perfectly describe the views you will see on this journey from the lush green and magical waterfalls of the lower section to the powerful majestic views of the mountains and vistas of the upper section.
This trip will change your life and this country and its people will steal a piece of your soul.
We truly feel like we made a long-lasting friend in Nepal, which made our trek even more special. We highly recommend Mountain Magic Treks!
Thank you Rewati Parajuli for organizing such a wonderful adventure!

Tremendous trekking experience with Mountain Magic Treks.
My brother and I just returned from a trek with Mountain Magic Treks. Without any reservations, I would highly recommend this company for anyone interested in trekking in Nepal. I cannot say enough good things about our guide, Rewati. From my first contact with him planning our trek, to leaving at the airport, Rewati was extremely knowledgeable, professional and prompt in providing information about the trek, visas, transportation and equipment needed to have a successful trek. Rewati made all of the arrangements during our stay and more than went above and beyond in caring for all of our needs.
In addition, Rewati and his brother, our porter, provided excellent company during our trek, providing expertise and humor along the way. They provided excellent conversation yet were respectful of times when we simply wanted to take in the spectacular views that we encountered. To say that I would recommend Mountain Magic Treks would be a gross understatement. If I ever have the opportunity to return to Nepal, I would, without question employ Mountain Magic Treks again.

As our first trek, my friend and I chose to do the Complete Everest Base Camp Trek and Day tour in Kathmandu with Rewati and his team, and the experience is one that I will treasure for years to come. Everything flowed smoothly, from the arrival to Kathmandu to the departure from Lukla airport. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly and made sure our experience was a safe and enjoyable one. We had absolute trust in our guide throughout the 15 days.
Thank you so much for taking us on this unforgettable journey, we'd definitely recommend this to anyone looking for an adventure!

Absolutely incredible experience. Rewati and his team were fantastic. Completed this bucket list item while meeting some incredible people and being very well taken care of. From the moment Rewati picked me up from the airport till he dropped me back again everything was taken care of. If I asked for anything it was done. The trek was incredible but onerous and I was ready for some luxury on my return to Kathmandu - Rewati arranges a 5 star hotel for me with minimal notice. I highly recommend mountain magic treks, Rewati and his team.

Did the Everest Base Camp Trail with the guide and owner of the company, Rewati. He was very professional, spoke great English and was overall just really easy and good to deal with. Highly recommend both doing the EBC Trail and using Mountain Magic Trek if you’re looking for a guide and/or porter.

Rewati is an excellent guide, obviously very experienced and with great feel for group dynamics. He managed our energy levels uphill very well, which was very important for a long trek. All the logistics was handled beautifully, and we were very happy with our lodging. Not to be underestimated, he is great fun to be around, and you can learn a lot from him! Thank you Rewati!

We booked the 15 days Everest Base Camp Trek and Kathmandu sightseeing tour with Rewati and his team from Mountain Magic Treks it was amazing. Toran was our guide and Kumar was our porter the company provided. We had an excellent time as we were very well looked after by Toran and Kumar. Our accommodations were great in Kathmandu and in the mountain- we had great food, and hot showers and wi-fi were available for the most part even it is chargeable. Trekking was never dull, and when it became difficult, Toran always made sure we took a break just to breathe or take hydration. But he also made sure we were on schedule so that we wouldn't miss spectacular moments such as the sunrise at Tengboche and Kalapathar itself. Even before the trip, Rewati was already very kind and helpful, answering all our questions by email or WhatsApp. It was a very smooth experience for us from start to finish. Overall, a really great experience and we would definitely recommend the team of Mountain Magic Treks local company!
Thank you Mountain Magic Treks Team and see you again

Thank you Rewati for arranging an amazing day tour and trek to EBC for us! From start to finish everything was perfectly organized and went off without a hitch. You were extremely responsive and amenable to all of our needs and requests and made us feel like family from the moment we arrived in Kathmandu. You also went out of your way to help us coordinate my visit to Pokhara and Kathmandu Valley, which was extremely helpful and very much appreciated!!
Throughout our trek, Rewati checked in numerous times to see how we were feeling and how our trek was going. He also made sure the trip was living up to my expectations and we weren’t encountering any problems. Mr.Kumar as our guide and other porters always went out of their way to help us and make sure that we were happy with everything. It is very evident that Rewati cares very much about his clients and goes that extra step to personalize the service he provides. we had multiple exchanges with Rewati before our arrival and he was always very accessible and responded immediately to our inquiries. In addition to all of the useful information, he also provided us with a heavy North Face jacket, North Face sleeping bag, and trekking poles so we didn’t have to bring any of this stuff with us.
We truly feel like we made a long-lasting friend in Nepal, which made our trek even more special. We highly recommend Mountain Magic Treks!

We had the chance to have Rewati as a guide for the EBC trek. He was very efficient, had a lot to explain about the nature and the history along the trek and was very friendly! We ended up liking him so much that we decided to continue for another trek right after, the Annapurna base camp trek. Very good experience, I definitely recommend him!

We had an amazing time with Rewati and Khem. Everything felt smooth from the beginning to the end. Rewati first picked us up at the airport, brought us to the hotel we booked (he can also book for you), let us rest and later brought us to this great traditional Nepalese restaurant. He gave us tips on top attractions and places to visit during our free time and also shared with us stories about his background & family which made the trip very personal and made us feel like we had already been friends for years. We could feel Rewati’s passion for his job and willingness to make this trip a memorable one for us.
We then headed to Lukla for the Everest Base Camp Trek. The first days are fine but it got more challenging as we went higher in altitude. Rewati is well trained and experienced to notice the first symptoms of AMS (altitude sickness) and would know what to do next.
After the trek, we decided to head to Pohkara, a beautiful city surrounded by a lake and mountains in the background (Annapurna) where we wanted to lay back, relax, and enjoy outdoor activities (Mountain bike, hill walks and Paragliding) for the last leg of our trip. Again, Rewati was helpful and booked for us hotel, outdoor activities although this was no longer part of our trip package. He would help us like a cousin would help his family members visiting.
We have treasured so many memories from our trek but what made this trip trully amazing is the human touch, passion for his job and love for his country. Thank you Rewati for all, you will stay in our heart. We will surely remember the non-ending card games in the lodges, the many stories you shared with us, but also saving Jay’s life due to AMS and lung infection (quick response, very efficient, felt safe & reassured at all times).

Rewati and his company Mountain Magic Treks should be your number one choice if you are considering Everest Base Camp Trek in Nepal.
This was my second visit to Nepal and I feel extremely fortunate to have found Rewati and Mountain Magic Treks.
Not only does Rewati answer all email queries promptly, he is also very flexible and can accommodate various changes and requests.
We trekked on this visit to Everest Base Camp and Kathmandu Day Tour, our guide Khem was very good, knowledgeable and accommodated our various route changes and made a huge effort to find us the best locations and rooms at every tea house we stopped. A slight room change can make a huge difference to a good nights sleep and Khem made every effort to always position us in the best spot possible.
The route to Everest Base Camp and back is quite challenging but Khem had no problem even with our relatively slow pace, he made sure to always watch us and make sure that we were safe and secure at all times.
There are a few other small things that Rewati and his team take care of that make your whole trip just smooth and effortless. Every part of the trip was spot on time. Every meet up for a ride to the airport or somewhere else was on time and efficient.
The full day tour was excellent. The hotel was very nice and the staffs are helpful in Kathmandu.
Hotels were booked as arranged and late check out was arranged without any issues.
Overall a fantastic experience and a great company to trek with, a highly efficient reliable team.

Amazing experience to EBC!
Phurba is a very experience guide, helpful, friendly and always attentive to clients needs. We stayed in some of the best lodges on the way to EBC and our porter was always the first to arrive and arrange the better rooms.
Phurba advises, briefings and adjustments on route were essential to adapt to acclimatization and make the trek to EBC and incredible and successful trip.

Best Guide You Could Choose!!
Rewati is an absolutely incredible knowledgeable, and efficient guide. He went above and beyond to make sure that I had an amazing trip from the time I met him until I boarded my flight. I went to Nepal by myself and only had a small amount of time to explore. Rewati planned out my entire time along the trek and I could not have been any happier! Along the trek Rewati was giving other guides advice on where to stay/eat and even helped out another guide who was on EBC get his clients who were sick life flighted out. Needless to stay he knows what he is doing and is the safest person you could choose as your guide! In addition he was incredibly flexible with the plans and has lots of friends along the treks. He was able to coordinate two drivers to get us off the mountain back into town while another friend I met took a bus and was car sick the entire time (3hrs). If you are going to Nepal Mountain Magic Treks is the absolute best and I would recommend to everyone!!
Enjoy the popular trekking and tour packages in Nepal Himalayas. 2024.
